MULTI CAPSULES - 60
Save money and time!
Bariatric surgery reduces the volume of the stomach, so you are able to eat less. Moreover, depending on the type of surgery, vitamins and minerals are less easily absorbed by the body. A general vitamin and mineral deficiency is therefore inevitable.
Bariatric Advantage Multi is a unique mix of vitamins and minerals in easily absorbed, active forms.
- Easily absorbable minerals: bisglycinates (chelates), fumarates and citrates.
- Vitamins in active forms: vitamin B6, vitamin B9 (Metafolin®) and vitamin B12.
- Lactose, soy and gluten free
Use: 2 capsules daily
Caution: food supplements must not be used to replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed stated dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
The benefits of Bariatric Advantage® Multi Capsules are that 2 capsules a day are sufficient to meet your daily required intake of vitamins and minerals. Moreover, you don’t need to chew the capsules, for they can be easily swallowed with a sip of water.
Don’t take the capsules on an empty stomach, but do so during a meal. Spread the intake over 2 meals (breakfast and/or lunch and/or supper).
You may find it easier to take the capsules by opening a capsule and mixing its powder into a small portion of your meal.
It’s recommended to take additional calcium citrate alongside Bariatric Advantage® Multi. An additional 1200 mg, and preferably 1500 mg of calcium (3 chewable tablets), per day is recommended for maintaining strong bones and teeth.
The amount of iron in Bariatric Advantage® Multi Capsules/Chewable Tablets is in accordance with international bariatric guidelines. Bariatric Advantage® Multi Chewable Tablets contain only 18 mg of iron and a daily intake of Bariatric Advantage® Multi Capsules contains 28 mg of iron.
Bariatric Advantage® Multi Capsules/Chewable Tablets contain iodine, i.e. 150 µg of iodine per chewable tablet or per 2 capsules. Nutritionists generally recommend that healthy adults take 100-200 µg of iodine per day.
As you’ve undergone stomach surgery, you can’t digest as much food as before. As a result, iodine intake through food is significantly reduced.
People who suffer from hypothyroidism and are being treated with L-thyroxine can take this multivitamin as well. If in doubt, please consult your treating doctor.
