Bariatric Advantage Iron

an easy to absorb form of iron, which has the added advantage that it is well tolerated in the stomach and the intestines. - with divalent iron Fe++
This is the only form the body can absorb. In food of vegetable origin, iron occurs as Fe+++ and thus first has to be converted into divalent iron. Therefore, an acid environment is needed , but since the stomach contents is less acid after surgery, this is less obvious. - Lactose, soy and gluten free
Use: 1 chewable tablet daily or as recommended.
