So a calcium deficiency is possible. In case of long-term calcium deficiency, the body will extract calcium from the bones. Additional calcium could be recommended for its role in bone formation and for the maintenance of strong bones.

It’s recommended to take additional calcium citrate alongside Bariatric Advantage® Multi. An additional 1200 mg, and preferably 1500 mg of calcium (3 chewable tablets), per day is recommended for maintaining strong bones and teeth.
Yes, large amounts of calcium that’re taken simultaneously with magnesium can interfere with the absorption of magnesium. Thus, don’t take calcium chewable tablets and magnesium at the same time. For instance, take the magnesium tablets during a meal and the calcium chewable tablets between different meals. To ensure an optimal absorption of both minerals, it’s better to take them at least 2 hours apart.
